Crusaders earn victory through walkover

Crusaders coach says his team is bitterly disappointed to win via walkover.

FANS and spectators of the Nashua Crusaders arrived at the clubhouse with bemused looks on Saturday as the entire first team were braaing up a storm. Their opponents for the day, the Zululand Rhinos pulled out a night before the clash, giving the Saders a win by walkover.

Coach and player, Ronnie Uys said his team were bitterly disappointed. “We had built good momentum going into this match and we are extremely disappointed. No one wants to win like this. We’ve now got to get back to the drawing board for our next game in Toti this Friday,” a dejected Uys said.
