Motorcycle thieves nabbed
Thanks to the swift action by Marshall Security response officers two suspected thieves were arrested late on Wednesday.
TWO motorcycle thieves were caught after fleeing from a Marshall Security street patrol guard on Wednesday, 21 May.
Marhsall Security’s Tyron Powell said a street patrol guard alerted the company’s control room that a motorcycle was stolen from the Burndale Place area.
“The guard reported that two suspects had stolen a motorcycle from a residence in Ellis Park Road at about 10pm. Once the thieves spotted the street guard they dropped the bike and ran away,” he said.
The response officers who responded to the crime spotted the thieves running away and apprehended them.
“Both thieves were arrested and handed over to Greenwood Park SAPS,” Powell added.
