Three Glen Hills women in terrifying ordeal

A Glen Hills woman and her two domestic workers were held up by three armed robbers last week.

A GLEN Hills woman and her two domestic workers recently underwent a terrifying ordeal at the hands of three armed robbers. The terrified women, according to police, were locked in their bathroom by the dangerous men on Friday.

Greenwood Park SAPS told the Northglen News that the home owner walked out the shower and went into her room when she noticed one of her domestic workers was being held up by two armed robbers. One robber had a gun and the other a knife.

“The robber with the knife then demanded money, safe keys and jewellery from the homeowner. They then also took a wallet from the safe,” said Lt Elvis Naidoo, spokesman for the station. A third armed robber held up the woman’s second domestic worker. The armed robbers then locked the three women in a bathroom and drove off with the woman’s car.

“No shots were fired and no one was injured. There have also been no arrests or recovery. The robbers are believed to be between the ages of 25 and 27 and wore varsity jackets,” Lt Naidoo added.
