Security guard murdered in Springfield Park

ZAKILE Samuel Ndimande, a 34-year-old security officer, was shot dead on Monday 7 April at 3.30pm in Springfield Park.

Greenwood Park SAPS reported that the manager of Peace Force Security, Stanley Naidoo, contacted the station informing them that Ndimande had been shot at SABCOOL in Palmfield Place, Springfield Park.

“Naidoo said he was contacted by Chubb Security after a panic alarm had been activated by Ndimande. Ndimande was found lying outside the guard house with injuries to his chest. His face was also covered in blood,” said Lt Elvis Naidoo from Greenwood Park SAPS.

Nothing was stolen from the property and the police opened a case of murder. No arrests have been made.
