A BIKER was critically injured after he collided with a vehicle along Davallen Avenue, La Lucia on Wednesday afternoon at around 3.46pm.
“Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation,” said Netcare 911’s Chris Botha.
Botha said paramedics arrived at the scene and found the biker (a 30-year-old man) lying on the road with life threatening injuries.
“Paramedics worked fervently to stabilise the patient and after he was placed on a ventilator and deftly immobilised on a trauma board, they transported him to a nearby hospital,” Botha added.
