Dube trail entry deadline looms

The event offers a 5km and 10km night race on 22 March starting and finishing at Dube Tradeport (Next to the King Shaka International airport) at 6pm.

ENTRIES for the Dube Queen Nandi and King Shaka Trail run will close on 9 March. Those interested in doing the event should enter as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. The event offers a 5km and 10km night race on 22 March starting and finishing at Dube Tradeport (Next to the King Shaka International airport) at 6pm.

Those runners and walkers who want to participate in the 5km, 10km or 25km King Shaka Trail run and walk on 23 March are encouraged to camp the night at a free site next to the starting point where entertainment will be provided. The first 250 entrants to complete the 10km or 25km race will be given a high quality trail running garment. Runners and walkers will be supported along the routes by Zulu Maidens and Warriors to compliment the occasion.

The full route description and entry details can be found on the ROAG website where one has to enter . Riverside Trail who have been promoting trail running growth and route creation believe this is a ‘must do’ event.

It offers a short run of 5km for beginners, a 10km route that visits the Mount Moreland Barn Swallow resting spot and a 25km route never ventured before.
