YOU are looking at adopting a child, but aren’t sure where to begin. Social workers can’t help much and you are desperate. Or you want to know more about adoption, but where do you get the info you need?
Adoption Companion, which is affiliated to the Peace Agency, is hosting a workshop, Adoption 101, on 2 November from 8.30am to noon at Grace Family Church in uMhlanga.
Guest speakers at the workshop are the Peace Agency’s Justin Foxton, La Lucia Baby Home’s Skip Collins, Adoption Companion’s programme coordinator, Ruth Stapleton, and Lisa Bobbert.
This workshop will focus on answering questions about adoption, and the orphaned child pandemic in South Africa, and is open to anyone, not just those looking at adopting. The workshop is free and open to people from any religion or faith.
