This Northglen News site is an extension of the newspaper. The newspaper online is about what the community needs to know and also a lot of information readers can share with their friends.
The site empowers the community to be a part of breaking news, to air opinions and help the Northglen News editorial team decide what is relevant. But, the reporters are still on the ground and in tune with incidents and events you would want to hear about as soon as possible.
As part of the Caxton groups digital expansion plan, every newspaper title now has its own site. There are already 43 sites up and running country-wide.
Every site is filled with the unique content of its area and it will also provide the reader an opportunity to become more interactive with their own communities.
The advantage of digital space is that, unlike newspapers, there is no running out of space. It has not always possible to use all the copy received from the community, but now it is. Send your news, photos and events for inclusion ont he skite.
