House break-in suspects arrested

TWO suspects were arrested after a foot chase that ended on Glen Anil Street this morning. According to Marshall Security's Tyron Powell, the incident occured at about 1am.

“Our control room received a call that four suspects had entered a property in Wisteria Grove. Our patrol officers checked the property and found everything to be in order. While walking back to the vehicle, the officers could hear dogs barking up Cypress Drive and our Special Operations Team members proceeded to follow the barking sounds on foot, the members made their way up Cypress and into Sagewood Way.

“One of our Reaction Officers spotted four suspects and gave chase. Members from Metro Police who were in the area helped and after searching various properties, the suspects were found hiding in a property in Glen Anil Street.

“The men had a bicycle which they had stolen and one of the suspects was currently out on bail for housebreaking,” he said. Powell added the quartet may be linked to other house break-ins in Glen Anil, Glen Hills and Glenashley in the early hours of the morning for a number of months now.
