She said, “Any age can enjoy this art form, from children to the elderly, and to learn to relax, be playful, and have fun with scissors and glue.  This can be a liberating experience. It is so nice to relax and feel there is no right or wrong- just to make or put together something that is meaningful to you, and not to try to please anybody else, but to express something out of your own heart, soul or life experience that resonates with you.”

The event, hosted by North Coast Artists, takes place at 2 Newport Avenue, Virginia and runs from 9am to 12noon. The entrance to the venue is just after Danville Park Girl’s High School and will be held in the church hall. Members pay R30 and visitors, R40.
