Crusaders claim league victory

THE Northwood Crusaders Sports Club hosted the Crusader’s Tournament on Sunday, 22 June. 
Roars of support filled the air as several junior rugby clubs competed in the event, including the Durban Collegians, Amanzimtoti, Hillcrest Villagers, Pretoria Bulletjies and Pretoria Harlequins. 

U7 results:
The Crusader’s blue team lost against the Collegians 4 to 2, but beat the Hillcrest Villagers 3 to 2. 
The white team beat Hillcrest Villagers 3 to 2 and the Harlequins 2 to 1. 

U8 results:
Crusaders beat the Harlequins 7 to 2. 
Crusaders and the Hillcrest Villagers drew 4 all. 
Crusaderst lost against the Collegians 7 to 2. 

U9 results:
The Crusader’s blue team lost against the Collegians 2 to 5.
The white team team also lost against the Harlequins 0 to 3, and the 0 to 5 against Amazimtoti. 
The blue team restored the Crusader’s confidence as they beat Amazimtoti 8 to 0. 

U11 results: 
The U11 teams competed in a set of league matches. 
The Crusaders emerged as the final victors when the beat the Hillcrest Villagers 24 to 0.
