17 injured as taxi overturns on North Coast Road

The taxi had a blowout causing it to overturn.

AT least 17 people were injured in an accident on North Coast Road when a taxi overturned a short while ago. According to Kyle van Reenen of Marshall Security, traffic is affected in both directions.

“The taxi was travelling north on North Coast Road when it had a blowout. The blowout caused the taxi to overturn and come to rest on its roof. The driver and 16 passengers were injured in the accident. Traffic has been affected in both directions and the left lane of North Coast Road is opened,” he said
