Simulated plane crash excercise at King Shaka Airport

There is no need for panic says King Shaka Airport management.

KING Shaka Airport management has reassured the public that everything is under control. This after a training exercise currently being carried out of a simulated plane crash caused concern among travelers earlier today. Several questioned why there were so many emergency response vehicles on the airport’s runway.

The airport issued an apology to travelers and visitors on site.

“Due to a mandatory emergency exercise currently being conducted at King Shaka International Airport, a large number of emergency response vehicles will be on site. Please do not be alarmed by this. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, however every effort is being made to ensure that your facilitation through KSIA is as smooth as possible,” they said in a statement.
