Miraculous escape for motorists
An early morning crash near Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium saw paramedics and firefighters racing to the scene of an accident at 5am.
TWO people miraculously escaped with minor injuries this morning after the vehicle they were travelling in veered across the centre median and rolled several times.
“Paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident on the M12 near Moses Mabhida Stadium around 5am and found that the wreckage of the vehicle had come to rest on its wheels, half on the pavement of the North bound lane. After investigations, they found that the two occupants from the vehicle miraculously escaped with only minor injuries,” said Netcare 911’s Chris Botha.
He added that the cause of the crash and preceding events will be investigated by the SAPS.
