WATCH: Woman’s bag stolen from SPUR

FOOTAGE from CCTV video at a restaurant of three women stealing a customer’s handbag has gone viral on social media. In the one-minute clip, a family is seated in a booth enjoying a meal when the three thieves take up their positions.

The theft occurred at the Red Hawk Spur in Plumstead and shows the thief sitting behind the unsuspecting family who are enjoying a night out. The thief shifts nervously and manages to pick the woman’s handbag up without alerting the victim. She then passes it to her accomplice who places it in a bigger bag before calmly leaving the store.
