Man knocked on Millennium Bridge
Paramedics at the scene said the pedestrian remains in a serious condition.
A PEDESTRIAN has been left with serious injuries after he was struck by vehicle on the Moreland Millennium Bridge in Umhlanga Ridge earlier today.
“Paramedics arrived on scene to find the man lying in the roadway having sustained head injuries,” said Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen.
He said paramedics needed to perform advanced life support intervention to stabilise the man.
The driver of the vehicle did not suffer any injury in the ordeal.
“Reports from the scene suggest the man was struck whilst attempting to cross the busy roadway out of a designated pedestrian crossing,” he said.
According to Van Reenen the man remains in a serious but stable condition.
