Car overturns in another N2 crash
The female driver flipped her car as she attempted to avoid a collision on the N2.
THERE was chaos on the N2 this morning when a car overturned near the Queen Nandi off-ramp at around 9.30am.
Reports at the scene suggest that the accident occurred when the female commuter (traveling southbound) swerved to avoid colliding with a trailer. Her vehicle then collided with the embankment and overturned, said Chris Botha, of Netcare 911.
“Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the vehicle lying on its side at the side of the roadway, traffic was backed up for several kilometres,” he said.
Paramedics stabalised the seriously injured female at the scene before they transported her to a local hospital, he added.
