Baby among 3 hurt in Durban North accident

Driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle before hitting the family.

THREE people, including a small child, were injured after they were struck by a vehicle on Ellis Park Drive in Durban North on Sunday afternoon.

“Paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 12.30pm to find that a driver of the vehicle had lost control on the suburban road, knocking over two adults and a baby.

“One of them, a twenty one year old man suffered serious injuries and advanced life support care was needed to stabilize him on scene. The mother and baby suffered minor injuries and were attended to on scene,” said Kyle van Reenen from Crisis Medical.

The driver of the vehicle was not harmed in the incident.
