Two injured in head on collision

Advance life support was needed to stabilise two motorists involved in a head on collision in Durban North.

TWO motorists were left injured following a head on collision on Margret Maytom Avenue in Durban North this afternoon.

“Paramedics arrived on the scene near to the Virginia Bush nature reserve, to find both drivers attempting to free themselves from the severely damaged vehicles,” said Kyle van Reenen of Crisis Medical.

A man believed to be in his late forties and a female in her late twenties, both the drivers of the vehicles, had to be given advance life support. When stable they were transported to local hospitals, he said.
