Car smashes into palm trees
It is believed that the 26-year-old motorist lost control of her car, causing her to crash into the trees.
A WOMAN was injured when her car smashed into several palm trees in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to Kyle van Reenen, of Crisis Medical, paramedics attended to the scene on Umhlanga Rocks Drive near Gateway Theatre of Shopping where they discovered that she had sustained moderate injuries.
It is believed that the 26-year-old old motorist lost control of her Nissan NP200 bakkie, causing her to crash into the trees.
She was treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to hospital, he added.
The local authorities were on scene and will investigate the incident further.
