Karou Charou returns to Sibaya

Karou promises to show his diversity as a well renowned entertainer.

KAROU Charou, widely touted as South Africa’s Indian Comedy King, returns to Sibaya this month with a show for all ages, the Hot and Spicy Family Show.

This family friendly production showcases the best of Charou over the last five years. In true Karou style the audience will play a major role with many landing up on stage, becoming part of the show.

“After a series of sold-out, adults-only shows, the enigmatic and charismatic Charou returns to Sibaya with a production that shows his diversity as an entertainer extraordinaire. It is going to be a goodie,” says Belinda Jelf, the Marketing Manager at Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom.

One of South Africa’s foremost Indian comedians, Charou is well-known for his two-man comedy show Beauty and da Charou with Beauty Ramapelepele, and earned rave reviews for Kama Sutra at sell-out shows in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Nelspruit. In May 2015, he was back at Sibaya with the much-anticipated sequel, Kama Sutra 2.

This time, fans young and old can look forward to a roller coaster ride of family-styled fun and entertainment. He will perform two 90 minute shows, one on 31 July and a second on 1 August 2015.

Shows start at 20h00 and pre-booking is advised. Tickets can be purchased at Computicket, Shoprite/Checkers or the Sibaya Box Office and range in price from R70 to R100.
