Car ploughs into pharmacy

IT has been confirmed that an elderly woman crashed into Northlands Pharmacy on Mackeurtan Avenue after attempting to park outside the popular dispensary. The driver sustained moderate injuries.

According to Kyle van Reenen of Crisis Medical, the woman had lost control of the vehicle, causing her to crash into the store.

“Remarkably, no one else was sustained any injuries. The driver was treated on scene before being taken through to a nearby hospital,” he said.

The store, however, suffered serious damage. Not only did the vehicle crash into what appeared to be two display stands, but it also smashed through one of the shops windows.
