IN response to Candice King`s letter in the Northglen News dated 22 May. I concur with yours and Carol Pearce`s letters.
I have witnessed monkeys harassing people within their own homes while the bulls raid the cupboards. I recall a letter to the Northglen News some time ago in regard to the monkeys raiding a bird nest. This I witnessed a few weeks ago when a troop came through our property and cleaned out approximately 13 nests, housing eggs and young.
At this rate the local bird life will become extinct. Which species needs protection?
