A WOMAN, believed to be in her late twenties, is in a moderate but stable condition after the vehicle she was traveling in collided with a heavy motor vehicle on the N2 before King Shaka Airport on Wednesday evening.
According to Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, paramedics found the driver battling to free herself from the wreckage when they arrived on scene.
“She was assessed and treated on scene before being placed on a specialised stretcher and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care. She sustained injuries to her head from the collision,” he said.
He added police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
