R32 000 stolen in eMdloti robbery

Security company appeals for information following robbery of foreign nationals.

THREE Chinese nationals were held at gunpoint and robbed of R32 000 and six cellphones just hours ago near eMdloti, at around noon today.  It’s believed the three suspects, travelling in a grey VW Polo with an ND registration, robbed the men and then bundled them into the car.

According to Reaction Unit South Africa’s (RUSA) Facebook page, the suspects then dumped the victims near a sugar cane plantation in Hillhead before fleeing in an unknown direction. The foreigners were unharmed in the robbery.

RUSA has appealed to residents to contact them on 086 1234 333 if anyone identifies the suspects’ vehicle.
