Zille got the Zuma ‘spy tapes’

The Zuma spy tapes that allegedly reveal collusion were handed over to the DA an hour ago.

Twitter is abuzz with the news that the DA has finally got their hands on the so called “spy tapes”.

The conversations on the tape recordings were cited by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) as reason to drop fraud and corruption charges against President Jacob Zuma, shortly before he was sworn in as president in 2009.

The Supreme Court of Appeal ruled last week that the NPA had to comply with a previous order to release the tapes within five days, in an application brought by the DA. Today was the deadline of the handing over of the tapes.

Eye Witness news is reporting that the tapes were handed to DA leader Helen Zille on a memory stick at the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria an hour ago.
