‘I was attacked by 3 male lions’
Blair Underwood is currently in conversation with Durban filmmakers and budding actors.
Hollywood heartthrob, Blair Underwood is in Durban. The American actor is talking to KwaZulu-Natal filmmakers and actors at the KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission.
Underwood is best known for his seven year stint on the NBC legal drama, LA Law, Madea’s Family Reunion and Ironside. He told journalists that he had visited the Drakensberg and the Midlands in a bid to find a location to shoot a movie he is working on.
“I also visited the Lion Park and we were attacked by three male lions. They told us that if the lions came closer, we should move and that is what we did, each time they came we moved,” he joked.
On a more serious note Underwood told the film producers and actors that he was excited to be in the country. He advised the budding actors and producers on the ins and outs of the competitive film industry.
