Burglars try to make getaway in a metered taxi
Four suspects were nabbed this morning with five laptops they stole in a house burglary late on Wednesday night.
FOUR house burglars were arrested early this morning when Durban North SAPS pulled over a metered taxi in Durban North.
On Thursday, 26 June at 5am Marshall Security attended the scene of a house burglary in Kerhoude Place, Virginia.
According to Marshall Security’s Facebook page the suspects had removed a glass pane from the front of the house and stole five laptops and fled.
The Durban North SAPS pulled over a metered taxi, a Mazda 323 with four suspects inside.
The vehicle was searched and the five stolen laptops were found. The suspects then pointed out the address in Kerhoude Place as the premises that they broke into.
“The four suspects were arrested. Well done to the SAPS members involved,” the post said.
Durban North SAPS could not immediately be reached for comment.
