Woman allegedly held hostage and raped by ex-boyfriend

A MAN known to police only as Adam allegedly raped his ex-girlfriend then nonchalantly went to work.

According to Greenwood Park police the woman’s ex-boyfriend contacted her and asked her to go to his house.

“On her way to his house the ex-boyfriend met up with her on a Mathambo township road. She reported that he then got violent with her and grabbed her by the shirt and took her to his house. An argument broke out between the two and the ex-boyfriend then left,” said Lt Elvis Naidoo, spokesman for the station.

The police reported that he then returned ten minutes later and pushed her to the bed, holding her up at gunpoint and fell asleep.

“Later that night the man woke up and decided to wake up his ex-girlfriend, requesting to have sex with her. When she refused he raped her and left for work immediately afterwards,” Lt Naidoo added.
