Editor: JUST a short mention of kindness and big thank you to Nicholas from Blue Security. My daughter was driving along Umhlanga Rocks Drive in her car around 9.30pm on Monday, 12 May when we assume she hit a pothole or sharp object in the road which caused a immediate blow-out in her tyre. She managed drive the car until she felt she could not drive it anymore (rim was on tar).
By this time she had phoned me to say she had stopped opposite Fatima in Broadway, fortunately we stay in Westminster Place so it was a short drive for me to go and assist, on arriving at where she had stopped a Blue Security vehicle driven by Nicholas had, by chance arrived at the same time. He had seen my daughter sitting in her vehicle with her hazards on and stopped to offer assistance. Nicholas stayed with us on a very quiet section of road that time of the night and assisted in changing the tyre and made sure we both safely left for home.
Big thank you to Nicholas for stopping and keeping us both secure . It was an act of kindness and community service that we extremely grateful for.
