DURBAN North SAPS arrested a man for reckless and negligent driving last Wednesday. According to Col Will Lombard, members from Durban North SAPS spotted the man driving suspiciously on Herrwood Drive, uMhlanga.
“As the members approached the vehicle, the suspect attempted to drive away and crashed into one of the police vehicles. A high speed chased ensued along the M4 and eventually ended on Stalwart Simelane Street (Stanger Street),” Lombard said.
“When we contacted the man’s family, we were informed he was on medication and was supposed to be in Randburg. We have charged him with reckless and negligent driving.”
