Locals open gardens for furry friends
THE Durban and Coast SPCA's annual fundraiser, the Open Gardens, is on 19 and 20 October.
The event is sponsored by Marshall Security and features six gardens in the Durban North area, which are overseen by well-known Durban North rose man, Stuart Bastow.
Tickets are R50 (pensioner’s R45 and children under 12 years free, under adult supervision). This includes a complimentary treat and cuppa courtesy of the Durban North Garden Club. Tickets are available at the SPCA (2 Willowfield Crescent, Springfield Park) at Hingham Nursery, Glenashley Garden Centre and Bloomingdales.
