Family pet killed in Sea Cow Lake home invasion
The homeowner was also assaulted in the robbery.
ARMED men assaulted an elderly couple and killed their dog during an armed robbery on Sunday (January 28) on Mysore Road in Sea Cow Lake.
According to Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell, the suspects armed with firearms and knives held an elderly couple in their home at about 06:15.

“During the robbery, several household items, an undisclosed amount of cash and the homeowner’s white VW Polo were stolen. One of the homeowners was assaulted during the robbery and was assessed by Netcare 911 paramedics,” he said.
According to Powell, the Crisis Trauma team were also notified to assist the victims as they were severely traumatised.
Greenwood Park SAPS were also notified of the incident.
