Woman and staff bitten by dog in Parkhill
When the owner tried to stop her dog from biting the domestic work, it bit her, too.
TWO people are in a critical and serious condition respectively following a dog-biting incident in Parkhill Durban North yesterday evening.

According to DRK EMS spokesperson, Cait Hagerman, paramedics arrived at the residence and found that a pit-bull-cross-staffy had bitten a 54-year-old male domestic worker while he was cleaning the yard.
“The owner of the residence came out of the house to try to stop her dog, but unfortunately, the dog bit her, too,” said Hagerman.
“Both victims sustained multiple bite wounds to their legs and arms. The owner, at 55 years of age, is in serious condition, and the domestic worker is in a critical condition,” she added.
A second ambulance was called out to assist at the scene.
The owner and staff member were stabilised and transported to appropriate facilities for treatment.
SPCA and SAPS were called for advice and assistance.
