GALLERY: Bok fans delight in win at Crusaders Sports Club

Fans were able to cheer on the Bokke while watching the game on a big screen.

THE Springboks got their Rugby World Cup title defence off to a winning start on Sunday in Marseille with an 18–3 win over Scotland.

The Boks weathered the storm in a tough first half which saw two Manie Libbok penalties give them a slender 6–3 lead going into half-time.

In the second half, though, tries from Pieter-Steph du Toit and Kurt-Lee Arendse swung the momentum in favour of the Springboks who shut out any real challenge from the Scots.

The Boks now know their biggest game will be against Ireland on September 23 which will likely determine who plays New Zealand instead of France in the quarter-final stage.

For now, South Africa turns their attention to their next opponent in Pool B: Romania.

That game takes place next Sunday, September 17 in Bordeaux.

In Durban North, there was plenty to cheer about for fans who flocked to the Crusaders Sports Ground Fan Park to watch the game on the big screen.
