Search continues for man kidnapped in Sea Cow Lake

The man went missing from his rental property on Sunday afternoon.

A 61-YEAR-OLD man was kidnapped from his rental property in Sea Cow Lake on Sunday evening, video footage has confirmed.

Clanlall Dwarika, also known as Shan, was abducted near Maynard Road in Sea Cow Lake in Durban on Sunday, May 28 at approximately 16:00.

According to Prem Balram of Reaction Unit SA, Dwarika was conducting maintenance at the residence when the incident occurred.

“CCTV footage captured in the area shows three men confronting the victim,” said Balram.

They then fled with him in the rear seat of his black Honda CRV with registration NJ 21395. There has been no sign of him since then.

“Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) and detectives from the Greenwood Park SAPS are following several leads that are sensitive to the case, which will not be immediately shared with the public,” said Balram.
