This also includes the Wyebank site.

“The City would like to advise residents that the Mt Edgecombe and Wyebank garden sites have been temporarily closed as both sites have reached full capacity,” said municipal spokesperson Msawakhe.

“The Cleansing and Solid Waste Unit requests residents to use the Mariannhill and Buffelsdraai landfill sites for their garden refuse disposal in the interim,” he added.

He said the process to clear the closed sites is underway, and a notice will be issued once the sites are cleared and re-opened for public use.
