Suspect nabbed within four minutes of Glen Anil business break-in

The suspect was handed over to Greenwood Park SAPS.

FOUR minutes was all it took for Marshall Security armed response officers to stop a business burglary in its tracks at a premises in Glen Anil on Sunday morning.

“Marshall Security emergency dispatch centre was alerted to a business break-in in progress on Glen Anil Street at about 07:00. Multiple armed response officers were dispatched to the scene,” said Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell.

“One suspect was caught trying to escape from a door which had been forced open. He failed to escape and was immediately arrested by our officers,” he said.

Greenwood Park SAPS responded a short while later.

“The owner of the business premises was told to open a case. The suspect was handed over to Greenwood Park SAPS and will be charged for business break-in,” added Powell.
