Last day for uMhlanga, Durban North residents to register to vote
It's still very quiet, but I encourage people to get to their nearest station to register to vote

IF you haven’t registered to vote yet, and don’t plan on doing so online, today is the last day you have to visit a voter registration station.

Yesterday got off to a slow start, and technical glitches didn’t make it any easier, however the systems are back online today.
“I have just done inspections at the stations in ward 35 and everything seems to be going well,” said ward 35 councillor Nicole Bollman.

Ward 36 Councillor, Shontel de Boer, said today isn’t much different in terms of foot traffic and the system, although online, is slow.
“It’s still very quiet, but I encourage people to get to their nearest station to register to vote,” she said.
Voter registration venues close at 5 pm today.
