AN ambulance en route to a medical emergency in the Mount Edgecombe area was stopped on the Duffs Road bridge on Friday evening by protesters.
According to spokesperson for KZN VIP Medical Paramedics, Garrith Jamieson, paramedics were responding to reports of a patient in her late 80s who had collapsed at her home.
