SPCA’s Tree of Love has a ‘pawsome’ message

Animal lovers can choose a bauble and write a message to go on the Tree of Love.

The Durban and Coastal SPCA has a ‘paw-fect’ plan to pay tribute to ‘fur-kids’ this Christmas with their Tree of Love fundraiser.

The ‘Tree of Love’ is a virtual tree on the  website. Pet owners and animal lovers can buy a bauble to post a special message on the tree.

“If your pets fill your life with love and laughter – or a memory of a pet who has passed on lives on in your heart – why not show the world how much you love them this festive season? Your contribution of just R100 – made online- allows you to post a personal message on our tree and helps your SPCA to care for abandoned, injured, abused and lost dogs, cats and other animals over the Festive Season,” said the SPCA on their website.

Visitors to the site can hold their mouse cursor over the tree to read the messages. Animal lovers can choose a bauble, write a message and complete the details on the website to secure their spot on the ‘Tree of Love’.
