Three injured as vehicle overturns on M4

The events leading up to the accident are unknown, confirmed paramedics.

THREE people were injured in an accident on the M4 Ruth First Highway (going north) near the Glenashley off-ramp on Thursday afternoon.

According to Crisis Medical spokesperson, Henry Landman, it is unclear what led to the accident involving one vehicle.

“When paramedics arrived on scene they found the vehicle was on its roof with three occupants who suffered minor injuries. At this stage the events leading the accident are unknown.

“Traffic going north has been severely affected and the M4 as far back as Broadway off-ramp is slow-moving. We advise motorists to stay clear of this section or find alternative routes,” Landman said.
