‘Get cycling for a ‘wheelie’ good cause,’ says Durban North NPO

Proceeds from the virtual aQuellé Tour Durban will support Durban North based NPO, The Domino Foundation.

THE aQuellé Tour Durban will take place in a virtual event this weekend, 25 – 26 July and it’s open to everyone.

What’s more, proceeds from the race will support Durban North based NPO, The Domino Foundation which supports society’s most vulnerable through entrepreneurial skills and economic development.

“aQuellé is determined to honour its commitment to The Domino Foundation, the beneficiaries of the race, and draw in as many participants as possible,” said Karen Brokensha, Domino Marketing Storyteller.

She urged all leisure cycling enthusiasts and families who love to #Ride4Good, to get outdoors and ‘pump the tyres’ this weekend.

Brokensha has dubbed these cyclists the ‘Weekend Warriors’.

“Register online for the aQuellé Tour Durban weekend with a minimum donation of R50 in lieu of an entry fee,” she said.

The virtual event allows cyclists from across South Africa and even abroad to support the cause, she added.

“All the details of how to be part of this signal version of Tour Durban are on www.tourdurban.co.za. Let’s make this the biggest Tour Durban ever. Participants don’t have to be in Durban, they can be part of the action from anywhere in the world,” she said.

Participants can take part by cycling on their local roads or home gym.
