Today marks back-to-school for thousands

Learner's are ready for the 2020 accademic year.

LEARNERS across the country go back to school on Wednesday, 15 January, returning to the school routine for ten weeks until their first break from 21 to 30 March.

Learner’s will be busy in the classroom until their June holidays which run from 13 to 30 June.

When they rerun it’s back to the grinding block until 19 September for a Spring time break that spans until the 28 September.

The 2020 school year will come to an end on 3 December for the summer holidays.

As little Mia Carew (5) starts Grade 0 at Crawford La Lucia Pre-Primary, mother, Kelly Carew said: “It’s her second year at the school. She is very excited to learn and grow in a caring environment. She loves being with her friends and swimming.”

With her children, Seth and Demi Vetter returning to Chelsea Preparatory School, Kate Vetter said getting ready to go back to school was easy.

“We are blessed in Durban North with the quality schools  and the community we have,” she said.
