Mahindra and Haval takes gold at NADA DSI awards

Every year the National Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA), test dealers’ satisfaction index in the interest of business persons who own and manage new passenger and or commercial vehicle dealership franchises.

NADA forms part of a constituent of 13 associations of the Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI).

When compiling the report for the Dealer Satisfaction Index, the National Automobile Dealers Association, focus on communication and relationships, customer focus, used cars, CSI program, vehicle range, media support, vehicle distribution, parts, goodwill, policy claims and warranty, franchise compliance audits, dealer support and labour rates.

The annual NADA DSI Awards dinner, hosted at Wesbank head office in Johannesburg, saw both Mahindra South Africa and Haval Motors Southern Africa receiving top praise.

After two years of receiving the Silver Award, Mahindra South Africa, which in 2018 broke through the 5000 unit barrier and showed a 26% overall growth, is proud to have received the Gold award to add to their success. Their overall DSI score was 77.1%, up from 70.8% in 2018. “We are very proud of our Gold Award as it is a direct indication of the health and happiness of our dealer network,” – Rajesh Gupta, CEO of Mahindra South Africa.

Haval Motors Southern Africa and GWM also received good results during the evening, while winning the Silver Award for the Dealer Satisfaction Index, GWM won the Most Improved Award for 2019. The SUV arm of the Chinese manufacturer, which received the Bronze Award in 2018, this year, won the Gold Award.
