THE Durban & Coast SPCA will host a ladies breakfast at the Rain Farm Game Lodge on the north coast on Tuesday, 7 August at 9am.

The event will act as a fundraiser for the association explained marketing manager, Tanya Fleischer.

“We have two wonderful guest speakers, Cathy Joubert a portrait photographer and Judy Martin owner of Lifestyle Health in Ballito. After a recent road trip around South Africa, with her labrador, Miley, she launched her new range capturing everyday life in South Africa, the people, flora and fauna. She will be chatting about her experience travelling through South Africa with her dog, who she will be bringing with her.

“Judy will be talking about having a healthy lifestyle and about the best possible ingredients to inspire a holistic healthy environment for all. We will also be doing a short presentation about the SPCA and what we do,” she said.

Fleischer urged residents to support the inaugural event.

“This fun morning out is for a great cause. We really need the public’s support to help make this first breakfast a success. All funds raised will go to the welfare of the animals we house and help,” she said.
