Sunningdale domestic worker assaulted in robbery

The gang made off with TVs and several other household items.

A GANG believed to be involved in two house robberies in the last 24 hours has struck again, this time in Sunningdale. The armed robbery took place on Dewdrop Place just after midday on Thursday. According to Capt Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the Durban North SAPS, a white Mercedes Benz, involved in two robberies yesterday, was spotted fleeing the scene.

“A domestic worker was assaulted by the gang who forced the electronic gates open. The men ransacked the premises stealing TVs and other goods before fleeing the scene. Members from Greenwood Park as well as Durban North SAPS and Marshall Security conducted a search for the suspects, however it was unsuccessful,” he said.
