Thieves target Glenashley business

The suspects were seen fleeing the scene of the crime in a silver Polo Vivo.

A GANG of thieves, armed with a crowbar, targeted a business at Glenore Centre on Thursday morning. The incident took place at about 5.40am confirmed Kyle van Reenen from Marshall Security.

“We received an alarm activation from one of the shops at the centre on Aubrey Drive. It is believed the gang forced the front door opened with a crowbar to gain access to the shop. The suspects then fled in a silver Polo Vivo, taking a Dell monitor, 55″ Samsung flat screen TV and a kettle,” he said.

Durban North SAPS, Capt Raymond Deokaran confirmed a case of business burglary had been opened.
