Furry friends find new loving homes
It was a bitter sweet day as some furry friends found new homes and others had to return to PACT.
TAILS and tongues wagging were the order of the day last Saturday when the Phoenix Animal Care and Treatment Centre (PACT) hosted a meet a greet at La Lucia Mall park. Several dogs were up for adoption on dog lovers couldn’t get enough of their four-legged friends.

Neeri Naidoo from PACT said they homed seven dogs. “We found fosters for six. We still have applications and home checks for a further five dogs. All our dogs had such a blast and were exhausted from all the fun and attention by the end of the day. It was sad sending them back to kennels. Some were going alone as their kennel buddy had been adopted and some looked like they knew it wasn’t their turn again.”
