Young guns of comedy come to Sibaya Casino

Fresh and vibrant comedians ready to leave audiences in stitches when 'Laugh Lukker Comedy' comes to Durban.

Sibaya Casino’s iZulu Theatre, in association with Laughing Productions present a line-up of new blood on the comedy scene on 29 and 30 September .

These young guns of comedy have been doing the club comedy circuit, honing in on their skills with a fresh & a new vibe. Veteran comedian & the man behind Laughing Productions Mervyn Pillay will be hosting the show.

His vision for the show is to introduce variety to the comedy scene & mandate because of KZN’s vibrant mixture of ethnicity and the cultural melting pot of South African comedy.  They add music to their events giving audiences a chance to digest the laughter & entertainment presented to them.

Comedians doing duty on the show aptly entitled “Laugh Lukker Comedy” will be radio DJ, singer, actor, MC, Yusuph Kadoo He has done a fair amount of work on television too. He brings his brand of zany, over the top & quirky wit.

Liam Johns started comedy about seven years ago.  He has opened for heavyweight comedians Loyisa Gola, Marc Lottering, & Jason Goliath. You will be hearing funny stories about his travels, family & what it is like being a newly married man.

Comedian, Statistics Lecturer, PhD Student, father & Husband Mo Vawda is no stranger to the KZN comedy scene. He has shared the stage with many of SA’s top comedy acts across many cities in SA. His comedy is fresh, relevant & clever which he often gets complimented for by comedy lovers.

Jeremiah Gounden who has been making people laugh in his family since he was a child  will make audiences laugh with his impersonation of famous icons like Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Mr Bean and many other famous actors.

Singing sensation Christopher K who has been wowing Durban audiences with his smooth voice and musical skills. He will provide the musical aspect of the show. The show starts at 8pm.
